Tina Kuhle
Assistant Coach
Tina Kuhle begins her first season as an assistant coach for the Eagles in 2011-12. She also works in the UW-La Crosse Foundation Office. Kuhle served as the head women's basketball coach at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville from 2004-2010.
The Pioneers reached double figures in victories in five of Kuhle's six seasons at the helm of the program. UW-Platteville earned a win at second-seeded UW-Whitewater in the 2007 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) tournament.
She also led the Pioneers to the Kohl Center in Madison for an exhibition game as UW-Platteville became the first WIAC institution to play the Wisconsin Badgers.
Kuhle was UW-Platteville's Women's Basketball Camp Director for six years.
A 1994 graduate of Clarke College (Iowa), Kuhle was also a physical education instructor at UW-Platteville for six years. She also worked as an admission recruiter/advisor for two years.
Prior to being named the Pioneers' head coach, Kuhle was an assistant coach at UW-Platteville from 2002-04.
She was the head women's basketball coach at Clarke from 1996-2002, earning two Northern Illinois-Iowa Conference coach of the year awards. Kuhle led the Crusaders to three league championships. In six seasons under Kuhle, Clarke compiled a record of 84-59, including a 45-11 conference mark.
Kuhle also served as Clarke's head softball coach (1994-2001), head women's golf coach (1996-97) and sports information director (1994-97). She was an assistant softball coach at UW-Platteville (2002-04).
A four-time Crusader basketball team MVP at Clarke, Kuhle is the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,773 points and assist leader with 425.

Mark Ross
Assistant Coach
Mark Ross begins his sixth season on the Eagles’ coaching staff in 2011-12. He came to UW-L after serving as the junior varsity girls’ basketball coach at Onalaska (Wis.) Luther High School for six seasons where his teams accumulated a record of 97-22.
Ross is currently in his ninth year as a math teacher at Luther and serves as the Knights’ varsity girls’ tennis and softball head coach. He also has five years of experience coaching AAU basketball.
A 1990 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran College, Ross was a four-year letter winner in basketball while being named team captain and earning first team all-conference honors his senior season.
He also lettered in baseball and soccer and was named WLC’s Scholar-Athlete in 1990.
