UW-La Crosse Baseball
Winter Baseball Camps 2012
Winter Hitting Camps
Coaches will break down each individual swing and teach proper ways to be successful at the plate. Age groups and skill levels will be separated to optimize the overall experience. All participants will receive a multitude of swings as different instructional stations.
Winter Pitching/Catching & Defensive Specialty Camps
These camps are designed to isolate your specific position in the field and break down its components. Pitchers will focus on mechanics, ball location, changing of speed, ways to increase velocity, and injury prevention. Catchers learn blocking and receiving, set-up and stance, throwing and controlling the game. Infielders and outfielders will be separated to receive detailed instruction in their respective areas. *Catchers gear will NOT be provided. If you catch, you will need to bring your own gear.
